Artiste japonaise installée depuis plusieurs années à La Réunion, Masami tend à se fondre dans la nature.
Masami déploie des sculptures souples, spatiales et organiques à l’intérieur comme à l’extérieur de l’espace d’exposition. Avec ses doigts, elle tricote des fibres végétales, du cuivre ou des fils textiles, en s’inspirant des mouvements du vivant (le vent, l’eau, le ciel, la forêt). Guidée par la lumière, elle est à l’écoute des vibrations et des fréquences de son écosystème.

A Japanese artist who has been living in Reunion Island for several years, Masami tends to blend in with nature.
Masami deploys supple, spatial and organic sculptures inside and outside the exhibition space. With her fingers, she knits plant fibers, copper or textile threads, inspired by the movements of the living (wind, water, sky, forest). Guided by the light, she listens to the vibrations and frequencies of her ecosystem.

MASAMIは、しなやかで空間的、有機的な彫刻を展示空間の内外に展開。生きとし生けるもの（風、水、空、森）の動きからインスピレーションを得て、植物繊維や銅、織物の糸を指で編んでいく。光に導かれ、生態系の波動と周波数に耳を傾ける。
